Domaine de Montrose, Cotes de Thongue, France 2010
This Lovely minerally grenache wine has a pleasant earthiness to it. It has spiciness to it, and tastes like a wine worth a lot more than its price-point. This wine is less spicy and far more minerally. Cherry, raspberry and talc on the nose. It has a mouth-filling taste, on a medium body. Hints of earth and a very well balanced acidity round this wine out. It has a medium to long finish. After breathing for a little bit, this wine gains a velvety texture that's really enticing.
