Vin de Pays Mediterranee, Teres Rose, France 2009
Until 1976, the vineyard was only a quarter of the activity going on in the Mediterranee, complimented by the cultivation of beans, tobacco, nursery of vines, cereals ... When John Paul DELANOUE installed this vineyard in 1976, he devoted himself exclusively to the cultivation of the vine and tree nurseries with subsequent participation of his brother Michael. Thus, until 1987, the nursery was able to expand at a lower cost. The surface of vine which was only 3 hectares developed to meet today's 43 acres of Cabernet Franc on the AOC Bourgueil and Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil.
This rose is a traditional French Provence style rose, light in color. It derives from direct pressing and bleeding, and is a pleasure to eat in the summer, or as an aperitif as you see fit.
